The Parkanson Bandsaws are a quality Bandsaw which was originally designed and manufactured in Australia.

With a capacity of 1000 x 650mm the Parkanson PK1000DMS is a Twin Column Machine ideal for larger steel fabricators. All Parkanson Bandsaws are designed to cut to their full capacity. The PK1000DMS is a Semi Automatic Machine with a full stroke hydraulic vice and double mitre 45 degrees in one direction and 60 degrees in the other which is controlled hydraulically by moving a lever on the control panel or by entering the angle required into a key pad and pressing GO.

There is a Laser fitted to the machine to assist in the lining up of the material to be cut.

Once you get to the larger capacity Bandsaws (eg. over 600mm width capacity) most quality manufacturers of Bandsaws become Twin Column so you have more control over the bow as it travels through the material, increasing the blade life and making blade selection easier.
